We are offering 3 fully funded PhD positions for the 42nd academic cycle. Each position includes a comprehensive scholarship providing a living stipend, alongside a dedicated budget for conferences, summer schools, and a laptop. Additionally, the stipend is increased by 50% during research periods abroad (for up to 6 months).
The available positions are distributed across our two main research curricula:
1. Curriculum: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
Available Positions: 2 fully funded fellowships
Key Research Areas: Machine/Deep learning, Knowledge Representation, Network Science, Multi-Agent System Simulation, Cloud/Edge Computing, AI for Health and Life Sciences, Computational Social Science.
Who we are looking for candidates with a background in one or more of these disciplines: Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Complex Systems, Mathematics, or related engineering fields.
2. Curriculum: Physics of Devices, Quantum Technologies and Mathematical Methods
Available Positions: 1 fully funded fellowship
Key Research Areas: Theoretical/Experimental Physics, Mathematical Foundations, Device Physics & Emerging Technologies, Quantum Technologies
Who we are looking for Candidates with a foundation in one or more of these disciplines: Physics, Mathematical Physics, Materials Science, or Nanotechnology.
